Meet Susan
Susan Ogilvy has been working in music for over 40 years operating various music schools and programs during that time. She holds a B.M.E. (‘71) and M.M.E (‘73) from the University of North Texas where she studied piano with Robert J. Rogers and Margaret Grubb. She was a full scholarship accompanist, studying voice with Grant Williams and accompanying the Chapel Choir at UNT for 4 years. Susan was a member of Alpha Lambda Delta, Sigma Alpha Iota, and played Harpsichord for the UNT Madrigal Singers.
She has written piano solos for Alfred Publishers, Stephens’ Development Co., and for the “Celebrate Piano!” method published by Frederick J. Harris (Canada)
Susan is co-owner, along with husband Jim, of Ogilvy Music Publishing, writing and arranging Keyboard Orchestra music since the early '80's. From 2001 to 2009 Susan was a Consultant for the Yamaha Corporation of America, working with teachers from all over the country for the Clavinova Festival. She was rehearsal accompanist for the Dallas Symphony Chorus and is a certified Kindermusik teacher.
Meet Sam
Samuel Jennings has taught private piano lessons since 2018. A recent graduate of Texas Woman's University with a degree in Choral Music Education, he also has student teaching experience in choir and elementary music. Samuel is committed to making piano lessons fun and accessible for all ages, fostering collaboration, and integrating modern music technology into learning.
